Antony Hermus

22 juli 2021

We congratulate Antony Hermus with his new position as Chief Conductor at the Belgian National Orchestra (BNO) starting from the 2022/23 season! Hermus was the clear favourite of both musicians and management of this orchestra, having already conducted the orchestra on two successive visits, most recently in October 2020. Antony Hermus will already return to BOZAR, the home base of the BNO, on 24 September 2021 to conduct Wagner’s Meistersinger (symphonic compilation by Henk de Vlieger) and Ibert with the Belgian saxophonist Simon Diricq.

We are very happy that Antony Hermus remains artistic adviser and permanent guest conductor at the National Youth Orchestra of the Netherlands (NJO)! He also continues as Principal Guest Conductor of the North Netherlands Orchestra and of Opera North.
