Auditions for the 2026 NJO tours will take place in November. Registration for both tours is open; the deadline is October 6th. You can find all the details via the links below.

NJO Summer Tour 2026

Throughout the year, NJO plans several projects, including an annual Winter Tour to the large concert halls in The Netherlands and a Summer Tour. The latter always visits the Muziekzomer Gelderland (Music Summer Gelderland), the summer festival of the National Youth Orchestra's of The Netherlands, and often goes abroad. In summer, we usually organise several orchestral projects and extra projects in cooperation with a diverse range of partners, which premiere at the Muziekzomer Gelderland. 

The NJO also organises a diverse range of projects for young professionals, such as (family) opera's together with opera companies, participation in the TV programme ARIA and other cooperations with different organisations. Participation in these projects is possible for ex-members of the NJO and is only possible after a personal invitation. For the currently ongoing young professional projects see the events calender.
