Love, war, heavenly life and death: these big themes all pass by in the monumental music of Mahler, Britten and also Richard Strauss. The National Youth Orchestra of The Netherlands (NJO) will bring these great musical works, conduced by Alexander Shelley, on stage in the summer of 2022. Concerts are planned during the festival 'Muziekzomer Gelderland', in The Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) and in a tour to Berlin.
