During the Muziekzomer Gelderland from July 29th to August 14th 2022, nine members of the National Youth orchestra of The Netherlands (NJO) performed Serenade no.1 by Johannes Brahms. The wish of one of the members of the NJO to play this work for large chamber music ensemble for an audience, became reality. The work is written for flute, two clarinets, bassoon, horn, violin, viola, cello and double bass.
For the festival Roeg Klassiek, the NJO Brahmsnonet will once more perform their programme during two of the concert routes of the festival!
